Edit Image node
Change part of a picture, rub something out, or make it bigger.
Edit Image works on a picture you already have. It does three jobs, and the one you pick names the button. Inpaint replaces an area, Erase takes something out, and Upscale makes the whole picture bigger and sharper.
For Inpaint and Erase you mark the area first. Open the node and paint over it there — that is the usual way. If you already have a Mask node, wire it into the mask input instead and it takes over.
- Wire the picture into the init input.
- Open the node and choose Inpaint, Erase or Upscale.
- Paint over the area you mean, or wire in a Mask node.
- Write a prompt if you are inpainting. Erase and Upscale do not need one.
- Press the button, which is named after the job you picked.
When inpainting, describe the whole result rather than the change. Replacing a red car with a blue one works better as "a blue car" than as "make it blue".
