Group

Draw a labelled box around related nodes to keep a big graph readable.

A Group is a coloured box drawn behind your nodes with a name on it. It is there to make a crowded graph easier to read — nothing more.

It never runs and never changes what your nodes do. Grouping nodes together does not connect them, and removing a group leaves every node exactly where it was.

  1. Add a Group from the toolbar.
  2. Drag its edges so it surrounds the nodes you want.
  3. Click its name to rename it.

Anything sitting inside the box moves with it when you drag it, which makes it a quick way to shift a whole section of a graph without selecting every node.
