Output node
Mark the finished shot and export it out of the graph.
An Output node is the end of a chain. Wire your finished picture or clip into it and press Export. It marks that result as the one you want, and makes it available to the rest of the project.
Without an Output node a graph still runs and still makes takes. What the node adds is the export: it puts the finished result where the rest of the project can reach it. Which take is the keeper is a separate thing, and you set that by approving it in Shots.
- Add an Output node at the end of your chain.
- Wire your finished result into it.
- Press Export.
- The result now appears in Assets and can be pulled into the Edit timeline.
