Voice node

Turn written lines into spoken audio, or convert one voice into another.

The Voice node makes speech. Type the line, choose a voice, and press Speak. The result is an audio clip you can play, keep, or wire into another node.

It can also work from a recording. Give it audio and it can speak the same performance in a different voice, keeping your timing and delivery.

  1. Add a Voice node and open the Inspector.
  2. Pick a voice from your project's Voices section.
  3. Type the line exactly as you want it said, punctuation included.
  4. Press Speak.

Punctuation does a lot of work here. Commas and full stops change the pacing, and a question mark changes the delivery. If a line reads wrong, try repunctuating it before changing anything else.
