Edit

Edit is the timeline. Drag your approved shots onto it in order, trim the ends, add sound and titles, and export one finished video.

It is deliberately simple. It is not trying to replace a full editing program. It is here so you can cut your film without exporting every clip by hand first.

1. Open Edit and drag shots onto the timeline.
2. Drag the ends of a clip to trim it, or split it where you want a cut.
3. Add music or voice on the audio track.
4. Add titles where you need them.
5. Export when you are happy.

The edit belongs to the project, so you can come back to it. Everything you drop on the timeline stays where you put it.

Your edit saves as you go. If you have it open in two tabs, the one working from an out-of-date copy is refused rather than allowed to overwrite newer work. It tells you to reload.
