Shots

Shots is the home of a project. Each row is one shot in your film, and inside it are all the takes you have made — every attempt, kept, in the order you made them.

Nothing here is thrown away. Trying a shot ten times leaves you with ten takes and no lost work. You can go back to the third one a week later if it turns out to be the best.

1. Open a shot to see its takes.
2. Play them and compare.
3. Mark the one you want as approved.
4. The approved take becomes the shot's picture in the list, and the one the Edit timeline uses.

Approving a take does not delete the others. It only says which one is the keeper, and you can change your mind at any time.
